A pool that never was

The day clerk was pleasant, making check-in a breeze. I appreciated the nearby restaurants for a bite and the comfy bed helped me feel more at ease despite the issues.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the pool was out of order, contrary to what was advertised. There were also cigarette burn holes in the bedcovers, and the 'breakfast' was hardly a meal—just coffee and dry mini muffins.

Free parking was great, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy at night.

We had a comfortable time enjoying the local attractions, especially at The Rock Ranch, where we soaked up some fun paddle boat rides. The beds were cozy, and it was a bonus being able to bring our non-service dog along for the trip!

In my wife’s opinion, the place felt a bit shabby and could really use a facelift to make it more family-friendly.

The king room with a non-smoking option was spacious and comfy. I enjoyed the plentiful pillows on the bed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. It was nice being close to local dining spots. Check-in was simple and quick. 😊

The lack of marked handicapped parking spots posed challenges, creating uncertainty during our stay. Breakfast offerings were disappointing. expired mini muffins and a single banana didn’t make for a satisfying start to the day. Cleanliness fell short—stained towels and a noticeable smell in the room didn’t inspire confidence. Lastly, the internet access was frustratingly slow, making it difficult to stay connected.

The spacious room was a huge plus, and the location made it easy to access nearby restaurants. I also appreciated the flat-screen TV and the convenience of having a fridge and microwave. Our stay was comfy, though a bit old-fashioned. Would recommend it for a low-key stay.

I stayed in a King Room, Non-Smoking and I can confidently say the king-size bed was a dream! The room was super clean, and the fridge was larger than most I've seen I loved starting my day with a warm breakfast that set the vibe for an amazing stay!
